For first-time visitors. Discover the city and a Renaissance masterpiece: Michelangelo’s original David

A three-hour tour for those who are visiting Florence for the first time, to enter slowly but thoroughly into its history and mood.

I will lead you through the historical old city centre, focusing on its famous old palaces (Medici, Strozzi), on its religious centre (the area around the Duomo), and on its political centre, Signoria Square. Ponte Vecchio will be one of our unequivocal stops, one of my favourite places in the city! After these preliminaries, we will be ready for the David, the astounding Renaissance masterpiece housed today in the Galleria dell’Accademia.
Let’s start then! Ready?
