This very special walking tour traces the influences and events of some of the most famous cafes and intellectual circles that made history, in Florence and throughout Italy, at the end of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s.

These cafes – like the famous Caffé Gilli, or the Giubbe Rosse coffee house in Piazza Repubblica – were meeting places for well-known artists and intellectuals, but also for Florentine bourgeois. In order to re-live that era we will have a coffee break in one of the most renowned establishments still working.
