Science Museum. Museum Galileo

The Galileo Museum in Florence is one of the great chances of seeing the city under a different light, the light of reason and science.

The museum itself is articulated on two different floors that hold the scientificic intruments collected in time by the ruling families of Tuscany, Medici and Habsburg-Lorraine.

Not to be missed are objects like the largest Armillary sphere in the world by Antonio Santucci, Galileo’s lens with wittch in January 1610, he observed the satellites of Jupiter for the first time and, why not some of his Fingers!
