This beautiful church offers works of art of every kind and from every period: Middle Ages – Cimabue, Giotto, Spinello Aretino; Renaissance – Donatello, Mino da Fiesole, Desiderio da Settignano; the late 1500s – V. Danti, Vasari, Bronzino; as well as works from the 1800s – Santarelli, Bartolini, Fantacchiotti, Fedi. And this is just a few of the artists! Not to mention the numerous tombs of illustrious individuals within the church: Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, Rossini, Ugo Foscolo.
